Rocky Mountain APPA's Fiftieth Anniversary History
Noted philosopher, poet and novelest George Santayana once said, "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." In the present circumstance one would suspect that there are many of us that would not mind repeating some of the last 50 years of RMA.

An exhaustive history of Rocky Mountain APPA was compiled in 2003 by the RMA Historian of the day, John P. Morris, just in time for the fiftieth anniversary meeting in Sedona. The entire 82 page history as published for that meeting is available from the download link below.
Note that the next history (which includes such notable events as the official inclusion of Idaho in RMA, RMA Board re-organization, and the rebranding of RMA and APPA) will be published in 2013.
